Frequently Asked Question

When you download the Upgrade Assemblies from M3 website, there are two folders: "DB-Script" and "PamwinPlus".

1. Open the "DB-Script" folder and run the upgrade script in your environment. Please take a back up of your database before running the script. Please note if you are upgrading from 2.8.x to 2.9.2.1, first you need to run the upgrade script for 2.9.2.0 and then 2.9.2.1. Both scripts are included into Upgrade Assemblie folder.
2. Open the "Pamwin Plus" folder and copy all the content into Pamwin Plus Web Server directory (usually the default path is: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PamwinPlus"). 
3. Go back to the Pamwin Plus folder. It contains an "App" folder. Please copy all the content from "App" folder into the place where you installed your Pamwin software (e.g. "C:\ProgramFiles\PamwinPlus\" ).

M3 provide full support during upgrading process via remote access. We use TeamViewer or NetViewer Software for this purpose.
